Full Stack Developer (Node.js with React)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or a similar back-end development role.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js, React and an excellent understanding in JavaScript (ES6+) of and its core principles.
  • Proven experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
  • Solid knowledge of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and JavaScript promises.
  • Experience with a version control system like Git.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, including at least one NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) and one SQL database (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 to facilitate effective collaboration with front-end teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an agile team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance back-end services and APIs using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support new features and functionality.
  • Build and maintain efficient and reusable Node.js modules and libraries.
  • Implement security protocols and data protection measures to ensure the integrity of our systems.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work with databases, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL), to design schemas and write efficient queries.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Node.js development.
